Have you ever wondered what it would be like to feel at ease with life (regardless of what it brings your way)? That’s a tall order, I know. And if you are looking for instant gratification or a quick-fix, best to look somewhere else.
But if you’re like most people living on the planet right now, you’ve probably already tried looking somewhere else. In fact, we do this unconsciously moment to moment:
We head for the chocolate, the wine, the gym or the TV to temporarily soothe our suffering — but it never quite lasts.
We feel a chronic uneasiness tied to disconnection from self and others.
We feel worried about not having enough money, not having perfect health, not knowing where our true purpose lies.
We become agitated and reactive with loved ones, and possibly guilty thereafter.
We long desperately for a sense of true worthiness and belonging: to ourselves, to our families, and to this world — but don’t quite know how to land there.
Compassion to the Core is a 21 day program that walks you from chronically-stressed, unconscious daily life toward experiencing challenges, relationships, and the mind with ease and deeply fulfilling awareness. You’ll start to understand the mechanics behind compassion from eastern philosophies and western science, develop a daily meditation practice rooted in mindful compassion, and take action steps in daily life to free yourself from constraints of scarcity mindset, negativity bias, and chronic reactivity.

Can I participate from anywhere?
YES. This is an online course and accessible from anywhere that has internet access.
How much time does the course take per day?
You invest the time you can. Each email is maximum 500 words (about 5 minutes reading time) and offers prompts for practice throughout the day. We build a meditation practice throughout the 21 days that asks for at least 5 minutes/day of meditation. That’s 10 minutes total per day, with option to share via facebook group, extend meditation practice, journal, etc.
I’ve never meditated — is this course for me?
YES. This course is open to all levels of meditators. For those with more experience, it may offer insight into the science behind specific practices to inspire and motivate, as well as deepen your practice.
Do I have to have Facebook?
No, but this will serve as a forum to share questions, ideas, and interact with other participants outside the two pre-scheduled group calls.
When are the group calls, and how do I connect?
I will host group calls through a platform called Zoom — it’s free for you and takes about one minute to download. Calls will take place at 8pm EST on November 13th and 20th. You will be sent a link to call in (this can be done via your phone or computer).
I can’t make it to the live calls — how can I get my questions answered?
I’ll ask the day before the call for any questions from those who can’t make the live call and answer them during the call itself. A recording of the call will be available for download the next day.
I’ve signed up for a one-on-one call with you. When will this be?
I will contact you personally to schedule a time that works for you. All one-on-one calls must be scheduled during the 21-days course and confirmed by November 9th.
I have a lot going on in November — including travel plans for Thanksgiving. Do you still recommend I take the course?
YES! I designed this course to challenge our perceptions of beliefs like “I’m too scatterbrained to meditate” or “I don’t have time to take out time to meditate” or “I feel way to stressed too be even remotely compassionate towards anyone…especially during the holidays.” You can do this. And the work that you put in will amplify your ability to be at greater ease with stress, relationships, and the challenges of daily life.
